Ligatures are flexible elements (bands) that connect with the lock orthodontic arch. Ligatures are most frequently mentioned elements of braces during inspection visits to the orthodontist.

In OrtoVena we offer our patients a wide range of ligatures, both in terms of color and shape. We offer one and two-tone ligatures with various shapes for our youngest patients, for whom wearing colored braces is even more attractive and fashionable. As for the shape of the ligatures, despite a wide selection, we offer our patients the classical patterns (oval) in order to maintain the purity of braces and therefore avoid tooth decay.

When choosing the ligatures remember, that due to the consumption of various types of foods and beverages, lighter-colored ligatures can become discolored. Therefore, the use of white or clear orthodontic ligature at the locks is not very practical.
